Ok, so I maybe a west coast junkie, I cannot NOT enjoy the fall colors of the east coast. I mean, seriously!? I didn't know leaves could turn these colors...Here's a few pics from my walk the other day:

Sewing bug bites again...
Couldn't help but use some great amy butler fabric to make this little masterpiece. I actually over "steamed" our old ironing board cover and then funny looking water came out the bottom. Let's just say, it was an old cover not well made. So I took to the store and found a great tutorial and BAM! here's our newest addition to the home :

Plymouth, Mass
Devin had a day off and we both took advantage of the almost not-freezing weather and headed south to the Plymouth Rock to see the rendition of the mayflower and the supposed original landing point of the pilgrims. A wee bit of historical site seeing, why not!
Devin posing with the Plymouth Rock, supposed rock pilgrims initially stepped foot on, but then, it could be all myths...
the plymouth rock is protected by this:
where would we be without eating ridiculously cheap and ridiculously good lobster?

Freedom Trail
It was a day of adventure walking the RED LINE throughout Boston (we didn't even make it half way and took a detour :) however, lots to see about boston, the smells of garlic in the north end, climbing to the top of the bunker hill monument, and finding a LOTUS car to show off to devin. Devin's old roommate and his friend came to visit, so we did a little touristy funness....here we go....
We were able to stop by Mass General Hospital to see Devin at the end. He was on call being a super DR. Good Job Honey!

New England Aquarium
We saw penquins and surgery on a cod fish, wow!
Devin had a day off before his long stretch of q4 calls (working 30hours straight every 4 days) so we took a rendezvous to The New England Aquarium. It was fun! We saw fish, seals, penquins, the gynormous myrtle the turtle and many other strange aquatic life. It was much larger than the The Birch Aquarium (since that's the only other one I have been to to reference) but just as fun and entertaining... all in all it was an adventure.
~good times learning boston~
