Wow....Christmas is off with a bang....

I am IN LOVE with felt this season. Look at our fun new stockings I got super motivated to do:

Look how fun down town Fanuel Hall is....lights, music...ah, tis the season
D took me to Handel's Messiah Symphony ... It was good, although classical music doesn't keep a tired girl awake...(sad to say, I was dosing by act 2) but altogether, great performance!! Thanks D :)

Event of the week:

Betty was stolen on Monday from in front of our apt building. Yep, stolen. Found, by no surprise in Dorchester, MA stripped, without wheels, without radio, and ignition hot-wired, dash torn up. Not worth it to fix, and heartache to D... we decided to donate her to charity. We're car-less! Talk about humbled....First Gina's wheels, now ALL of Betty---cars are a target here in Bostonia. Guess we weren't meant to have a car in Boston. Still with positive attitudes -- plus, we still have one another :)

Tis the Season....

So I'm on a sewing kick again...
Here's our newest tree skirt and Tree up and decorated! When it was all said and done, I told devin, I don't like it so much, b/c it looks like a gingerbread man....sigh....yea well, it works.

DATE NIGHT with Devin was BASHO SUSHI ... Here below was the most amazing bit ever: Celtics Maki Burrito. Devin said it's about the only thing Celtics he likes...Love my CA boy!
Here's a bunch of fun that I found at the grocery store that reminded me of home: (PS Check the fine print)

And I can't help but laugh when I came out of church and THE RIDE was out front picking someone up ... it's a pseudo boston transportation van. I laugh because it seems like all the patients of the Emergency Dept either come in by ambulance or THE RIDE... and here it is at Church.
And on a final note I am officially TRAUMA trained emergency nurse. Kind of scary!! I've seen some highly unusual things -- bones popping out of legs, people with unheard of blood pressures and turning blue then somehow they return to normal color/pressure (thank heavens!) and other unmentionables for the average stomach. I am just excited to have finished training...FYI - D and I always say: don't get sick, don't come to the hospital unless you're TOO sick, and don't bleed into your head
-- words to live by.
