Betty was stolen on Monday from in front of our apt building. Yep, stolen. Found, by no surprise in Dorchester, MA stripped, without wheels, without radio, and ignition hot-wired, dash torn up. Not worth it to fix, and heartache to D... we decided to donate her to charity. We're car-less! Talk about humbled....First Gina's wheels, now ALL of Betty---cars are a target here in Bostonia. Guess we weren't meant to have a car in Boston. Still with positive attitudes -- plus, we still have one another :)

ReplyDeleteThat is terrible! Poor Betty. It always happens to the good ones. On the bright side, without a car, Santa doesn't need to bring you "the club" (stearing wheel lock) for christmas.
