This trip was one of D's vacations from residency. What a better way to spend time than with familia in the sunshine?

We were able to go with Garrett for an endowment at the LA LDS TEMPLE. We are sure happy for him. He is going on a mission to New Mexico at the end of the month. 2 years of service ~ You GO Garrett!!

The Parentals:

Devin and I were able to spend some time with his dad. It was great! We walked and saw many ducks at a nearby venice-like-pond. QUACK !We also were able to go to a STAKE LUAU with my parents home stake. Bevington and Mikey came! As did the parentals and Devin's dad....good time luau-style.


We spent some time with Brad/Caylee/Reiko + Grat picking fruit at a local establishment...I love the valley for it's wonderful FRUIT. PS Pluots and nectarines....deliciousness!



They had a dried corn-box (sandbox idea) ...the boys just couldn't get enough



Vacation on Vacation....to PISMO!!

Great food at the Splash...highly recommended!!

Who said dating is no fun when married? No One, It's MORE fun!!

It was such a fantastic way to spend the day. Devin and I had lunch outside at TGIF on a warm breezy boston day, then we GROUPON-ed our way to a one hour Boston tour on SEGWAYS!! Boy was that ever the BEST! Totally recommend it. We had a blast and saw so many things in Boston. Even maneuvering the streets between people and cars was amazing! Then we ended our day with our favorite sushi take out place. MMMMmmmm I love you caterpillar roll! Man this husband of mine sure knows how to make me smile! Such a great day together!

just a little randomness to add ...

So Au bon pain is the only thing that is 24hour when I am on the twilight world and I always seem to snatch up this little cup of love ... I can't help it NY taught me to be an addict of this soup...MMMMmmm delish! (ps...I fix the "reduced sodium" with 2 packs of salt....can't help it, it needs it when they try to go all healthy...plus I need those electrolytes!)Oh PS WE SOLD GINA! Sorry gina fans ... she's outie-5000. We then were able to pay off some great school debt that we somehow accrued in our professions....Thanks Gina, you served us well. No more sleepless nights wondering if you would lose your shoes again. Ahhh stress relief!

Meet Suzie...

....my newest greatest and latest addiction. Her name "SUZIE" comes from my mamacita, b/c every time I sit at her, I hear her my mamacita's voice. I think I caught a bug or something...aghhh! (or my real mom is unavailable to answer my phone calls b/c she's hidden in the mountains for girls camp) I turn to suzie, the sewing machine, for solace....

Saundra Visits!

Wooo Wee, we were sure stoked to have our VERY FIRST houseguest. Thanks Saundra for flying the trek to get to us, we enjoyed having you here.

on her visit, we experienced...

boston trains, boston walking...and walking...and walking, chipotle(it doesn't matter where you are it's a must), Nahant Beach sun bathing, Sailing the Boston Harbor, decorating our picture-less walls, visit to Joanns fabrics, sewing fun clutches (oddly turning into our parents), scarfing down delicious greasy pizza, Temple trip to Boston Temple, church in our family ward, and sunday dinners. Good times...
